William Talataina the next to renew with Old Glory

William Talataina is the latest to re-sign with Old Glory DC for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old midfielder follows six other announcements over the past two weeks, including fellow backs Danny Tusitala and Mike Dabulas.

After arriving from Auckland ahead of the 2022 campaign, Talataina cemented himself in Old Glory’s lineup and played every minute of the season. He is the only player in MLR to achieve that distinction this past season. Talataina scored 8 tries in 16 games, behind only Junior Sa’u and Peni Lasaqa for DC.

Versatility was a key attribute for the Samoa ‘A’ international this season. Talataina is equally at home at both center positions and also started once at flyhalf.
