Cory Daniel commits to another season with Old Glory

Cory Daniel has signed on for another Major League Rugby season with Old Glory DC. The 27-year-old flanker follows previously confirmed returnees Danny Tusitala, Stan South, and Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz.

This past year saw Daniel breaking into the USA Selects squad for the Americas Pacific Challenge in Montevideo. He then enjoyed his most accomplished MLR season to date with 15 appearances, 13 of them starts, and 4 tries.

Daniel was among the league’s top tacklers in 2022, a reflection of his collegiate wrestling experience at the University of North Carolina. He joined Old Glory’s training squad in 2020 but had to wait until the 2021 season to make his competitive debut.
