Stan South signs on for another year in DC

Stan South has signed on for another year with Old Glory DC. The former England u20 international has committed to what will be his third Major League Rugby campaign in the nation’s capital. South is the second player formally confirmed as returning by DC, following captain Danny Tusitala.

Since arriving ahead of the 2021 season South has been an ever-present in Old Glory’s second row. This past year saw the 26-year-old appearing in 13 of 16 games, packing down alongside Fijian duo Api Naikatini and Tevita Naqali.

The club is yet to announce their Head Coach for the 2023 season. Nate Osborne held the role in an interim capacity after taking over from Andrew Douglas half-way through the 2022 campaign.
