Arrows land Australian winger Fabian Goodall

The Toronto Arrows have added more firepower to the backline for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. Arriving from Eastwood in Sydney’s Shute Shield competition is Fabian Goodall, an imposing winger who stands 6’2″ (1.88m) and weighs 255lbs (115kg).

Though born and raised in Australia, Goodall represented Fiji Bati in three rugby league international tests. He signed with Parramatta Eels of the NRL in 2012 and made the switch to rugby union in 2016. Since then Goodall has been a prolific try scorer in the Shute Shield. He also played professionally with Greater Sydney Rams and Melbourne Rising in the NRC.

Goodall, 27, follows Nic Benn in making the move from Australia to Toronto. They join Canadian international Cole Davis as attack-minded arrivals out wide. Meanwhile versatile back Mitch Richardson and openside flanker are enjoying off-season loan spells with Scottish club Melrose.
