LA prop Marco Fepulea’i joins Colomiers

Marco Fepulea’i has joined French Pro D2 club Colomiers on a one-year deal with an option. The 27-year-old tighthead prop departs the LA Giltinis having played in the last three Major League Rugby seasons, first with the Colorado Raptors in 2020.

Though he appeared in just 7 games during the 2021 campaign, Fepulea’i played all 80 minutes in the Championship Final win over Rugby ATL. This past season he appeared in 14 games as part of a rotation with Charlie Abel and Les Leulua’iali’i-Makin.

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Fepulea’i represented Samoa at u20 level and was called into the Manu Samoa squad for the Pacific Nations Cup. He made his senior international debut against Australia ‘A’ though he has yet to make his full test debut.
