Colombia has finalized the player roster for the Tri Nations. The upcoming competition will see Los Tucanes playing at home in Barranquilla. All three tournament matches will take place at the Romelio Martínez. Colombia will play in the tournament opener against Paraguay on Saturday, August 20.
Brazil is ranked above Paraguay and Colombia. Paraguay (Los Yacarés) are 47th in the world while Brazil (Os Tupís) are 29th and Colombia is ranked 34th. Rankings will be on the line in all three matches in Barranquilla.
The tournament will be broadcast in Latin America on Star+ / ESPN.
Colombia’s roster consists of the country’s leading domestic players. There are players from the 2022 Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) including Carlos Ángulo, Juan David Agudelo, Diver Ceballos and Diego Posada. Brive second-rower Andrés Zafra will not play.
