USA South Panthers get even against Colombia

The USA South Panthers got even against Colombia on Saturday in Barranquilla. In the second of two international matches, the visitors from North America finished 25-16 winners.

Colombia won the first match 18-17. As was the case in the first match between the sides, Los Tucanes were held scoreless in the second-half. Colombia were leading 18-14 in game one while in game two the USA South Panthers had a 18-16 lead at the interval.

Saturday’s result at the Estadio Moderno means that the teams split the series with one win and one loss each. The tour was delated due to the pandemic. It was placed as a warm-up series for Colombia ahead of the Tri Nations tournament. Colombia will face Brazil and Paraguay later this month.
