Utah sends Andrew Quattrin to New England

Andrew Quattrin’s stay with the Utah Warriors is over after less than a week. The now-former Toronto Arrows hooker has been traded again, this time to the New England Free Jacks.

In effect it’s a three-way deal that sees an import slot going to the Arrows, salary cap space to the Warriors, and a Canadian international to the Free Jacks. Quattrin is a direct replacement for Pieter Jansen, who has departed New England after two seasons with the club.

Utah however are now back on the hunt for a hooker with Chad Gough now retired. Instead of joining Emerson Prior at the Warriors, Quattrin finds several Canucks in Boston including fellow front rower Foster DeWitt. Josh Larsen skippers the side while Reegan O’Gorman, Ethan Fryer, Isaac Olson, and Canadian-eligible Jack Reeves also suited up in 2022.
