Brazil to play four international matches in August

Brazil will have a busy month of international competition in August. Os Tupis are to tour two different South American countries and play a total of four matches against three different teams.

Brazil will travel to Chile to play two matches against the Rugby World Cup 2023 qualified opponent. The matches, however, will be against Chile under 23. For this reason they will be uncapped. Chile will play as Chile XV and Brazil will play as Brazil XV.

The first match between the Chile XV and the Brazil XV will be played in Santiago on August 17. It is to be followed by the second three days later in the southern Chilean city of Temuco.

The matches in Chile will serve Brazil as final preparations ahead of the South American Tri Nations in Barranquilla, Colombia. Brazil will face Colombia and Paraguay in the Caribbean city. Match dates are to be August 24 and 28. Both matches will be capped test matches with World Rankings on the line.

Brazil’s roster will be the same for the matches in Chile and Colombia. An official annouoncement of the squd members is forthcoming.
