MLR 2022 Dream Team – Have Your Say

Next week ARN will be publishing its annual MLR Dream Team. As we did last year, we are again giving you the chance to have your say. Over the next few days we’ll collect your feedback in the comment section below, on Facebook, and on our Twitter feed.

As with last year we’ve whittled down the contenders to four choices. In some cases just doing that was exceptionally difficult! Openside flanker, scrumhalf, and inside center were particularly challenging with multiple options across the league.

To qualify players must have appeared in at least 8 games this season. That meant that late arrivals Waisake Naholo and Nehe Milner-Skudder were not considered, while more weight was given to players who excelled over the season in its totality rather than in small blocks of games. Andy Ellis, for example, was unquestionably the best scrumhalf of the postseason but was selectively rested by New York for much of the regular season.

Is your number one pick at a certain position missing? If so let us know who it is in the comment section and why you think they should be at the top of the list.
