South Korea Advance to face Hong Kong in Decisive RWC 2023 Qualifier

South Korea were 55-10 winners over Malaysia on Saturday. The result sees South Korea progressing to face Hong Kong in a decisive RWC 2023 qualifier on July 09. That fixture is to be the Asian Final.

The match was played at the Namdong Asiad Rugby Stadium in Incheon. There was an attendance of 5,078. South Korea outscored Malaysia by eight tries to one.

The winner of South Korea vs Hong Kong will advance to the Asia / Pacific Final. The winner of that team will book their place in Rugby World Cup 2023 in Pool B. Tonga have played at ever Rugby World Cup aside from 1991while South Korea and Hong Kong have never qualified.

Pool B of RWC 2023 contains Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and the Europe 2 qualifier which had been confirmed as Spain but is subject to change.
