Racing 92 have signed Juan Imhoff for a further two years. The Parisian club will be home to the Rosario speedster until 2024. Few Americas players have served a foreign club to a comparative extent; Imhoff joined Racing 92 following Rugby World Cup 2011.
Imhoff holds records for Racing 92. The Argentine winger has scored over 100 tries for Racing 92. His tries have come in different competitions. 69 of them have been scored in Top 14 matches, 32 in the European Champions Cup and 1 in the 2020 Super Sevens. Imhoff is the first player to score 100 tries for Racing 92 in the professional era.
The rampant try scorer was the second best strike-rate of players in the history of the Champions Cup. An additional feat was completed in 2018 when Imhoff became the first Argentine player to score 100 professional tries.
During his time with Racing 92 Imhoff has appeared in both the Champions Cup and Top 14 Finals. He won the latter in 2016, downing Toulon in Barcelona, Spain.
For his country Imhoff has earned 37 caps. This includes playing in two RWCs. At RWC 2011 he scored two tries – one against each of Georgia and Romania. In 2015 he crossed against Georgia, Ireland and Tonga, scoring five times in total. His double against Ireland was a highlight of the tournament. In total Imhoff has 21 tries for Los Pumas.
