Rugby Mourns the loss of Federico Martín Aramburu

Rugby is mourning the loss of Federico Martín Aramburu. The former Pumas winger was shot dead in Paris, France overnight. Aramburu was 42-years-old.

Aramburu had a lengthily career as a professional rugby player. He played in France for Biarritz, Perpignan and Dax. He also played in Scotland for the Glasgow Warriors.

He debuted for CASI’s first XV at the age of 19. He moved to France in 2004 to join Biarritz and helped the team to the French championship title. That same year saw him making his test debut for Argentina against Chile. He is Puma 623.

Two of Aramburu’s 22 caps were at Rugby World Cup 2007. He scored tries in both of his appearances – against Georgia in Lyon and against France in Paris.
