Alev Kelter named Premier 15s Player of the Month

Alev Kelter has been named Premier 15s Player of the Month for her performances in three matches between February 5 to March 6. In that space she scored 38 points including two tries to help Saracens stretch their lead at the top of the table.

The USA Eagles star has remarkably achieved the distinction in her first full month competing in England. Kelter arrived at Saracens in mid-January and has proved an instant success, earning Player of the Game honors against Harlequins and Sale. She has now cemented her spot at inside center while also assuming primary goal kicking duties.

It’s encouraging news for Eagles fans ahead of this year’s World Cup, with Kelter one of a number of USA internationals currently excelling in the UK’s top division. A USA Falcons XV comprised of players competing abroad will face Wales in a friendly this coming Saturday in Llanelli.
