USA lock Jenny Kronish signs for Harlequins

USA Eagles lock Jenny Kronish has signed with Harlequins for the remainder of the Premier 15s. She becomes the 19th USA player to join England’s top flight competition and the first at Harlequins with Kristine Sommer this season moving to Gloucester-Hartpury.

Kronish began her rugby career at a relatively late age, taking up the sport at 19 while attending Harvard University. Now 25, the New York native played for the Glendale Merlins and Beantown RFC before making her test debut against Canada this past November.

Eagles coach Rob Cain now has four second row options currently signed to Premier 15s clubs. In addition to Kronish and Sommer, World Cup veteran Alycia Washington is on the books for Worcester Warriors while Hallie Taufo’ou, who also debuted in November, is playing for Loughborough Lightning.
