USA Falcons XV to play Wales in March

A USA Falcons XV will play against Wales on March 12. The fixture will be played at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli and serves as a warm-up for Wales head of the Women’s Six Nations, and an opportunity for USA coach Rob Cain to connect with his overseas-based players.

Both teams have qualified for this year’s World Cup that starts on October 8. The USA are currently ranked 6th in the world and will compete against Italy, Japan, and Canada in Pool B. Wales are ranked 11th and are in Pool A along with Australia, hosts New Zealand, and a final qualifier to be determined later this month. Scotland, Colombia, and Kazakhstan are the contenders.

There are currently 17 18 Eagles playing with Premier 15s clubs in England, with all expected to be included in the squad to play Wales. A final roster and streaming details for the match are to be confirmed. EDIT: Joanna Kitlinski has now been confirmed as signing for Sale Sharks.
