The duo both featured for Argentina in 2021. They are expected to be busy again for Los Pumas in 2022. Mateo Carreras worked his way into the starting lineup and did not disappoint as he scored tries against France and Ireland during Argentina’s November tour of Europe.

Santiago Carreras has moved around the backline. He started on the wing at RWC 2019 before starting at fullback in 2020 and playing in both positions and fly half in 2021.
