Leguizamón and the fans at the URBA 2021 Final – CUBA vs SIC

Juan Manuel Leguizamón has given fans a look into the fans at the URBA Top 12 Final. The 2021 Final was played between CUBA and SIC, two teams that have been highly productive in producing Pumas. Leguizamón himself played for SIC following his move from his native Santiago del Estero in Northern Argentina.

CUBA did just enough to defeat SIC in the 2021 Final. The Villa de Mayo team were 10-9 winners in what was their 15th title in history.

The former Puma asks the question if Argentines are rugby’s greatest fans? More importantly, the video gives valuable insight into what the clubs themselves mean to the players and supporters.

Leguizamón earned 87 test caps for Argentina. He played in RWCs 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019. He started at N8 in Argentina’s famous win over France in what was the opening match of the World Cup. His final cap was against the USA in Kumagaya in 2019.
