Final Women’s Rosters for Málaga Sevens

The Women’s bracket of the World Sevens Series returns to a more familiar three-pool format in Málaga beginning on Friday. There will be only 11 teams competing, however, as Fiji have been forced to withdraw due to pandemic complications.

Belgium and Poland join the tournament and with Great Britain now dissolved England will return to the circuit. The Polish side has also been hit with Covid cases and will compete with only 11 players.

Changes have been made to all three Americas sides. Canada are able to call upon overseas pros Karen Paquin, Alysha Corrigan, and Paige Farries. Isadora Cerullo’s retirement sees some new faces for Brazil, and the USA has dropped captain Abby Gustaitis with Lauren Doyle recalled to lead the side.

Live broadcasts will be available on the CBC Sports website in Canada, Peacock TV in the USA, ESPN in South America, and on the World Rugby website for those located abroad.

A full fixture list can be seen here.
