San Diego re-signs loose forward Dan Pryor

The San Diego Legion have re-signed loose forward Dan Pryor for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. A late arrival this past season after signing on in June, the 33-year-old featured in just two matches in 2021 but will look to make his mark in the new year.

Pryor spent three years in Japan before making his move to California, playing one season with the Sunwolves. He had previously played for both the Blues and Highlanders in Super Rugby. At the international level Pryor represented the New Zealand Māori on three occasions including the match against Canada at BC Place in November 2017.

Younger brother Kara Pryor spent the past season in New York and recently re-signed for 2022. The senior Pryor also plays flanker or No8 and is one of four back row forwards confirmed by the Legion for the upcoming season including Chris Robshaw, Michael Smith, and Rohan O’Regan.
