JM Hernández, Gareth Rees among World Cup Drop-Goal Kings

Juan Martín Hernández and Gareth Rees are among the kings of drop-goals at Rugby World Cups. The Argentine and Canadian legends featured in a recent World Rugby produced video showing the top five exponents of drop-goals at Men’s Rugby World Cups.

Hernández and Rees are in illustrious company. They join RWC 2003 champion Johnny Wilkinson (England) in addition to prior finalist Rob Andrew (England) and Semi Finalists Jannie de Beer (South Africa).

Rees joined Andrew in competing at RWCs 1987, 1991 and 1995. The Canadian also competed at RWC 1999 as did Jannie de Beer and Johnny Wilkinson. Hernández played at RWCs 2003, 2007 and 2015. Wilkinson competed at RWCs 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011.
