Old Glory re-signs prop Jack Carroll

Old Glory DC have re-signed tighthead prop Jack Carroll for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old returns for a second year at Segra Field, having recently returned from a three-month stint playing for Clontarf in Ireland.

Carroll was a High School All-American and played for the USA u19 side but opted to play football at collegiate level for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. He signed for Old Glory ahead of the 2021 season made six appearances, all as a replacement.

The club will be looking for more involvement from Carroll in 2022 following the departure of last season’s first choice front row trio of Jamie Dever, Mike Sosene-Feagai, and Steven Longwell. Sosene-Feagai has gone to Toulon and Longwell to Jersey Reds, with Dever recently extending his contract with London Irish through the end of the English Premiership season.
