Argentina to face England in London in November 2022

Argentina will face England in London in November 2022. The match is to be the first of three test matches for Los Pumas that month. It is also to be the opening match of November for England. The Europeans will play four test matches.

All four matches will be played at Twickenham Stadium. Argentina’s last visit to the home of England rugby was in November 2017. On that occasion the home side were 21-8 winners. The teams were scheduled to play in November 2020.

The most recent test match between England and Argentina took place at RWC 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. Argentina lost Tomás Lavanini to an early red card. The South Americans heavy defeat was part of an underwhelming campaign at the World Cup.

The 2022 fixture will be the only match between the teams between World Cups. They are in the same pool again for RWC 2023. The teams will clash on Day Two of the tournament in Marseille.

Argentina’s November 2022 Internationals will come in the form of a three-match tour of the UK. The official fixture list is forthcoming, though Americas Rugby News can confirm that Argentina will play against England, Wales and Scotland.
