Seawolves sign Sharks prop Mzamo Majola

The Seattle Seawolves have announced the signing of loosehead prop Mzamo Majola on a three-year deal through the 2024 Major League Rugby season. He makes the move from the Sharks in South Africa and notably represented his country at the 2015 World Rugby u20 Championship.

Majola made his Sharks debut in the Vodacom Cup at the age of 20, but it would be on loan to the Southern Kings where he would make his Super Rugby bow in 2017. After a brief stay with the Kings in the Pro 14 later that year he returned to the Sharks, most recently suiting up in this year’s Currie Cup.

Seattle have now confirmed three props for the new season including tighthead pair Tim Metcher and Sam Matenga. There will be a strong South African contingent ready to welcome Majola with Rhyno Herbst, Riekert Hattingh, JP Smith, and Mat Turner joined by newcomers Dan Kriel and Juan Mostert.
