Agustín Creevy double helps London Irish to road win over Pau

Agustín Creevy’s impressive form continued today. The former Pumas caprain ran in two tries for London Irish in the team’s 33-10 road win over Pau in France. Creevy came off the bench to touch down twice in the try zone for the English Premiership side in the Chalenge Cup match.

Creevy was one of four Argentines involved for London Irish. He was the only one of them not starting for the team. Lucio Cinti played on the wing, Juan Martín González was flanker and Facundo Gigena played at loose head prop. The trio all played in the Rugby Championship this year and all had starts. Creevy has not played for Los Pumas since RWC 2019.

London Irish and Pau will play again next weekend. London Irish will face French opposition again, but this time at home. The Exiles take on Brive on Sunday, December 19. Pau’s fixture next weekend is a home match against Saracens next Saturday.
