Tommy Clark signs long-term Seawolves extension

The Seattle Seawolves have signed Tommy Clark to a three-year contract extension that ties him to the Pacific Northwest club through the 2024 Major League Rugby season. He has spent the offseason playing for Rugby ATL’s development side, Pathway 404.

Clark was initially selected by the Dallas Jackals in the 2020 Collegiate Draft but signed for Seattle ahead of the 2021 season. In his first campaign as a professional Clark demonstrated the ability to play across the back row and he played 11 games including three starts.

A USA u20 international, Clark is the fifth loose forward to commit to the 2022 campaign and beyond with captain Riekert Hattingh joined by Brad Tucker, Nakai Penny, and Travis Larsen in re-signing with Seattle. Ben Landry can also play on the flank though he should feature primarily as a lock next season.
