Established and New names included on Argentina 7’s roster

Argentina’s Men’s rugby 7’s team, Los Pumas 7’s is ready for upcoming international competition. The 2021 Tokyo Bronze Medalists start the new season with a 14-man roster. They will compete in the first leg of the world circuit in Dubai on November 26-27 and the second on December 03-04.

The roster contains new players Tomás Elizalde (Tigre, Salta), Tomás Lizazú (Old Resian, Litoral), Joaquín Lamas (SIC, URBA), Santiago Vera Feld (San Andrés, URBA) and Matteo Grazziano (Los Matreros, URBA). Of them Grazziano gets the call three years after having won Gold at the Junior Olympics in Buenos Aires.

Established names Rodrigo Isgro, Santiago Álvarez Fourcade, Germán Schulz, Joaquín de la Vega, Gastón Revol, and Lautaro Bazán Vélez are all back. So too is Marcos Moneta. He has been nominated as one of four players by World Rugby for the Rugby Sevens Player of the Year award.
