The Scattering of Jaguares XV SLAR Champions

Los Jaguares XV will be very changed in 2022. Nine of the players that started against Peñarol in the 2021 SLAR final now play in Europe. Four of the men from the replacements are now also playing abroad. In short, there has been a scattering of Jaguares XV players who were part of the 2021 Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) champions.

Teams from the French Top 14 and Pro D2 as well as the Italian Top 10, the English Premiership and the United Rugby Championship (URC) have recruited Jaguares XV players from the 2021 SLAR final. Thus far, eleven of the players are now playing in Europe.

There are additional names from the campaign who have also departed Argentina. The move north began during the season itself with Santiago Chocobares moving to Toulouse after having featured in the early season rounds.
