Seawolves lock Taylor Krumrei signs for NOLA Gold

NOLA Gold have announced the signing of second row Taylor Krumrei for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 29-year-old has been part of the Seattle Seawolves since their inception and helped the team win back-to-back titles, playing a starting role in the 2018 Championship Final.

Krumrei missed the entirety of the 2021 campaign due to injury but prior to that had been a regular in Seawolves lineups. He played 24 MLR games between 2018 and 2020 and was named in the USA Select XV squad for the 2018 Americas Pacific Challenge.

A specialist lock, Krumrei takes the squad place of Canadian international and team captain Kyle Baillie who has joined the Toronto Arrows. Other second rows available to the Gold in 2022 include returnees Billy Stewart, Ignacio Dotti, William Waguespack, and Kane Thompson.
