Americas Rankings – October 24, 2021

The Americas Rankings is an exclusive on Americas Rugby News. The rankings compare the men’s test teams from throughout the Americas. Matches recognized as caps are used for the rankings. Teams yet to compete since the Americas Rankings began are listed with 30.00 points.

There were three matches involving the Americas this past week. Of them, one was one test match was the USA’s home match against New Zealand. The Eagles fell to a 104-14 defeat against the All Blacks in Washington, D.C. Despite the heavily loss there is no change to either team in the rankings. This is due to their respective rankings prior to the match.

As noted, there were additional matches that did not involve test teams. Chile A completed a 62-0 win over Paraguay A while Uruguay A were 28-12 winners over Brazil A. Both matches were part of the Americas Pacific Challenge (ARC).

There will be no test matches over the coming seven days. The USA’s home match against Ireland has been cancelled. Americas test teams will next play on November 06. Uruguay face Romania in Bucharest, Canada face Portugal in Lisbon and Argentina face France in Paris.
