Dallas signs Canadian prop Liam Murray from Houston

Add another prop to the Dallas Jackals roster. Newly-capped Canadian international Liam Murray has signed on with the expansion side for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old loosehead makes a cross-Texas move from the Houston SaberCats.

In his first season as a professional Murray made seven appearances, his first coming while on a one-game loan with the Toronto Arrows. He would then play a half-dozen games with the SaberCats including one start, and made his test debut as a replacement against England in July.

Murray joins Alex Tucci as senior front row additions for the Jackals, with Timothy Ohlwein and Tayé Olagunju signed on development contracts. There will be at least two familiar faces in Dallas with second row Jérémy Lenaerts and blindside flanker Bronson Teles also signing from Houston.
