LA fullback Glenn Bryce announces retirement

LA Giltinis fullback Glenn Bryce has announced his retirement from rugby at the age of 30. The Scotland Sevens international departs after one season of Major League Rugby.

In a statement posted on social media, Bryce did not clarify his next endeavour:

“Every player has this day to hang up the boots from professional rugby. I feel this is the right time for me to go into a different path. I have learned so many skills from professional rugby which I will carry on into the real world as they say!”

Bryce played 12 matches for LA in 2021, all starts, with his last coming at outside center against Utah in the final game of the regular season. He missed out on the Conference and Championship Finals due to injury with Luke Burton assuming the fullback role.
