Thretton Palamo signs on for another season with Old Glory

Thretton Palamo will run out for a third season with Old Glory DC. The 33-year-old has signed a one year extension, following fellow US Eagles Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz and Mike Dabulas in committing to the club through the 2022 Major League Rugby campaign.

This past season saw the blockbusting center in fine form. Minor injuries saw him miss four games but in the dozen he appeared in Palamo was a dominant figure with four tries scored and others created with numerous line breaks. He also co-captained the team alongside Mungo Mason.

With Mason and veteran midfielder Ciaran Hearn both departing, Palamo will shoulder a larger leadership role in 2022. Also contracted for next season is Canadian international Doug Fraser, who was also a prominent figure at center during the 2021 season.
