Nese Malifa follows Allen Clarke to Seattle

Nese Malifa is packing his bags for Seattle. The Dallas Jackals Assistant Coach will follow Allen Clarke to the Seawolves, with whom the 36-year-old attack specialist has signed a three-year deal through the 2024 Major League Rugby season.

A dual international having represented the USA in both test rugby and on the World Sevens Series, Malifa was part of the Rugby ATL staff during the 2020 season but switched to Dallas ahead of 2021. Though he has stayed with Dallas in recent months the Jackals have yet to play a single game.

Dallas has begun to reveal their playing staff with big name additions Chris Pennell and Henry Trinder now confirmed. Their coaching staff, on the other hand, remains a complete mystery with the departure of Malifa and promotion of Elaine Vassie to General Manager leaving them with a blank slate.
