Americas Rankings – September 26, 2021

The Americas Rankings is an exclusive on Americas Rugby News. The rankings compare the men’s test teams from throughout the Americas. Matches recognized as caps are used for the rankings. Teams yet to compete since the Americas Rankings began are listed with 30.00 points.

There was one capped match involving one or more teams from the Americas this past week. It was Saturday’s Rugby Championship match in Townsville. Los Pumas fell to a 27-8 defeat. The outcome is a loss of 0.507 rankings points, or a fall from 7th to 8th in the world with Scotland being the benefactor.

The rankings will be updated again following next weekend’s international competition. Argentina will close out their Rugby Championship campaign against Australia while Canada host Chile and the USa host Uruguay. The North America vs South America clashes are RWC 2023 qualifiers.
