William Waguespack and Ross Depperschmidt have each re-signed with NOLA for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. It will be the fifth year in Gold for local product and USA u20 cap Waguespack, and the fourth for Texas native and USA South Panthers select Depperschmidt.
This past season started slowly for Waguespack but he appeared in each of the last five games of the season, including two starts. The 23-year-old lock produced his best performance to date after coming off the bench early in the first half during the remarkable upset win over the LA Giltinis in Week 16.
Depperschmidt was named on the bench for the season opener but the midfielder would have to wait until Week 12 to see his first game time of the campaign. He started two games during the season, both coming as a makeshift winger in back-to-back matches against DC and Toronto.
