USA scrumhalf Carly Waters signs for Saracens

Carly Waters is set to continue her career abroad in the build-up to next year’s World Cup in New Zealand. The USA Eagles scrumhalf has signed on with Saracens for the 2021-22 Premier 15s campaign, joining Canada’s Alysha Corrigan as North Americans currently signed by the 2020-21 Finalists though more are expected to be confirmed by the club.

A three-time national champion at Penn State, Waters earned USA u20 and Collegiate All-American honors before making her test debut against New Zealand at Chicago in 2018. Most recently she was one of 43 players who took part in an extended training camp at Glendale starting in mid-June.

Six Eagles have now been confirmed by Premier 15s sides for the season that kicks off this coming weekend. Alycia Washington has joined Worcester Warriors, while Exeter Chiefs lay claim to returning quartet Kate Zackary, Rachel Johnson, Gabby Cantorna, and Jennine Duncan.
