Jamaica and Mexico among the 11 competitors for the 2021 Men’s RAN 7’s

Jamaica and Mexico are two of eleven competitors set to take to the field in the 2021 Rugby Americas North (RAN) 7’s. The two day tournament will take place at the Meridian Fields in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos from October 16-17.

The 2021 RAN 7’s will do more than crown a champion; the tournament doubles  as a qualifier for the 2022 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series. The winner in Turks and Caicos will earn the opportunity to compete for the 16th and final spot on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Jamaica and Mexico lead the field in Turks and Caicos. The two countries features in the Tokyo Olympics qualifiers earlier this year in Monaco. The nine other participants are Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Guyana, and hosts the Turks & Caicos.

The entire tournament will be streamed live on RAN’s website, with scores, highlights, daily recaps, and other tournament content posted on RAN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Pools and tournament schedule will be announced closer to the tournament.
