Travis Larsen signs two-year Seawolves contract

The Seattle Seawolves have locked in another player on a multi-year contract. Canadian loose forward Travis Larsen has put pen to paper on a two-year agreement that keeps him at Starfire Stadium through the end of the 2023 Major League Rugby season.

Larsen was acquired by Seattle from the San Diego Legion late in the season and he would impress enough in his three starts to earn a new deal. He missed the final two games of the campaign with injury. The 30-year-old has previously played for Austin Elite and Old Glory DC.

Older brother of New England Free Jacks captain and Canadian international Josh Larsen, Travis has himself represented Canada at senior ‘A’ level but has yet to win a test cap. He also earned New Zealand Universities honors in 2012 while playing for Massey and had a stint playing professionally in Italy before making the move to MLR.
