Americas Rankings – August 22, 2021

The Americas Rankings is an exclusive on Americas Rugby News. The rankings compare the men’s test teams from throughout the Americas. Matches recognized as caps are used for the rankings. Teams yet to compete since the Americas Rankings began are listed with 30.00 points.

The current edition considers the result of Saturday’s Rugby Championship match in Port Elizabeth. Argentina were beaten by 19 points by South Africa. Despite the heavy defeat there is no change to the rankings of either team. This is based on South Africa’s ranking of above 94 points compared to Argentina’s of 83.15.

The rankings will be updated again following the next weekend of international competition. Upcoming matches include Argentina’s Rugby Championship games against Australia and New Zealand and the RWC 2023 qualifiers between Canada and the USA.
