Canadian winger Paige Farries re-signs with Worcester

Canadian international Paige Farries has signed on for another season with Worcester Warriors. The 26-year-old from Red Deer, Alberta, impressed in her first Premier 15s campaign, scoring five tries for the Warriors while securing her place as first choice in the No14 shirt.

Farries has won 10 caps for Canada since her debut against England in November 2017. With the World Cup now approaching next October in New Zealand she is well placed to secure a starting role on the wing, though the Canadians will not be without options with Sabrina Poulin, Alysha Corrigan, and a resurgent Magali Harvey among others in the picture.

Worcester finished last year in 7th spot on the 10-team table with 5 wins and 13 defeats. The 2021-22 season is now under a month away with the opening round slated for the weekend of September 4 when Warriors travel to Sale Sharks.
