New Exeter deals for Emily Tuttosi and McKinley Hunt

A pair of Canadian internationals have signed new deals to stay with Exeter Chiefs for the 2021-22 Premier 15s season. Emily Tuttosi and McKinley Hunt make it six North Americans confirmed following Eagles quartet Kate Zackary, Rachel Johnson, Gabby Cantorna, and Jennine Duncan.

Tuttosi enjoyed a breakthrough season with Exeter, starting all 18 games in the club’s debut campaign. Her outstanding form was recognized with club Player of the Year honors. The 25-year-old has emerged as a strong candidate at hooker for Canada heading towards next year’s World Cup in New Zealand.

Also vaulting into contention for the tournament is Hunt. The 24-year-old lock played in 17 games and scored a team-leading 7 tries. Her powerful ball carrying and set piece contributions led to a nomination for Premier 15s Team of the Season, one of four Canadians nominated.
