Argentina Sevens roster for Tokyo Olympics

Argentina’s Rugby Sevens roster has been finalized ahead of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora will have a twelve-man playing roster for the tournament. The roster will also contain two traveling reserves.

Los Pumas 7´s will compete in pool play against Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. They will require strong performances to advance and compete for medals.

Argentina’s roster contains Rugby Sevens specialists. The players have been training and competing together over a sustained period. It also contains Pumas of tomorrow; players who are expected to win caps and be in the frame for RWC 2023.

Lucio Cinti was on the roster for the 2020 Tri Nations. He was an unused replacement in Argentina’s historic win over New Zealand in Sydney. Ignacio Mendy is another of note for Argentina. Their inclusion is a massive boost for Argentina’s prospects in Tokyo.
