Martín Vaca will play in France. The Pumitas hooker has signed for Narbonne to play in the PRO D2. He makes the move abroad following his strong showing in the 2021 Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR). Vaca was a part of the Jaguares XV side that were undefeated.
Vaca makes the move to Narbonne aged 20. His age sees him still involved with Argentina’s u2os. He is presently in South Africa playing for Los Pumitas. He and Jaguares XV teammates Bautista Bernasconi and Ignacio Ruiz are the three hookers on the Los Pumitas roster.
Vaca is the fifth Jaguares XV player to sign for a foreign club. Winger Sebastián Cancelliere has joined the Glasgow Warriors; fly half Tomás Albornoz will play for Benetton; Federico Wegrzyn has joined Provence Rugby; and Joel Sclavi will play for La Rochelle.
Vaca is a product of Jockey Club Villa Maria. He went through the regional system including at Córdoba’s High Performance Center.
