Old Glory star Jason Robertson to make France move

Jason Robertson is set to move to France at the end of the 2021 Major League Rugby season. Old Glory’s star flyhalf has signed a two-year deal with Narbonne, who recently confirmed a return to the Pro D2 after earning promotion from the Nationale.

It’s a blow for DC who have seen Robertson flourish in his two seasons at the club forming a highly effective halfback partnership with Samoa international Danny Tusitala. He led MLR in scoring in 2020 and is currently 4th on the charts in 2021.

This will be the first European contract for Robertson. The New Zealand Universities representative has previously played provincial rugby for Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Counties Manukau in his home country while he also spent a season in Japan with Tokyo Gas.
