Five Canadians to play in Premier 15s Semi Final

Five Canadian internationals are set to play in the second Semi Final of the Premier 15s on Saturday. Saracens host Loughborough Lightning at StoneX Stadium in London. The first Semi Final will see Wasps taking on Harlequins, though on Americas players will feature.

Saracens are the top seeds after finishing first on the table and are unbeaten since their loss against Wasps in February, one of only two defeats all season. They will pair up Sophie de Goede and Emma Taylor in the second row. Versatile three quarter Alysha Corrigan is named on the bench.

Loughborough’s form dipped somewhat at the end of the campaign but they still finished well ahead of 5th-place Gloucester-Hartpury for the last Semi Final spot. DaLeaka Menin will wear her usual No3 shirt in the Lightning front row with Abby Duguid right behind at lock wearing No4.

Kickoff is set for 2:30pm local time, 9:30am Eastern, 6:30am Pacific. A live broadcast will be available exclusively on the Premier 15s website. Registration is required but free.
