Draw confirmed for Olympic Repechage qualifiers

World Rugby have confirmed the draws for the upcoming Olympic Repechage qualifying events. Both the Men’s and Women’s tournaments will be held at Stade Louis II in Monaco on the weekend of June 19 and 20. The Rugby Sevens event in Tokyo begins on July 26 for the Men, and July 29 for the Women.

WOMEN’s DRAW

The Women’s tournament features 12 teams in three pools. There are four teams from the Americas – Jamaica and Mexico from the North, with the South represented by Argentina and Colombia.

Two qualification spots are available meaning both sides who reach the Final will book their spot at the Tokyo Games. France and Russia are favorites having finished in 4th and 6th place respectively on the 2019-2020 World Sevens Series.
