Domingo Miotti kicks Western Force to last-gasp win over Waratahs

Domingo Miotti kicked the Western Force to a 31-30 victory earlier today. The Argentine fly half landed a penalty in the final play of the match to give the Western Force a last-gasp victory. Miotti was joined by fellow former Jaguares Tomás Cubelli and Santiago Medrano in the starting line-up.

The match was the second start, and appearance, for Miotti in Western Force colors. The first was similar; Miotti kicked the Western Force to victory over the Melbourne Rebels seven days earlier. His performances have produced two wins. The kick for victory has been noted in Australian media as the biggest play in the 16-year history of the Western Force.

The Western Force will be looking for more heroics from the Argentine fly half while he is on the roster. Miotti will depart Australia at the end of the Super Rugby AU season. He will make the move to Scotland. He and Jaguares XV winger Sebastián Cancelliere have signed to play in the Pro 14 for the Glasgow Warriors.
