Vannes extension for Pumas No8 Rodrigo Bruni

Pumas No8 Rodrigo Bruni has signed a one-year contract extension with RC Vannes that ties him to the French Pro D2 side to the end of the 2021-22 season. The 27-year-old joined the club in December following the dissolution of the Jaguares Super Rugby team.

Bruni has been in tremendous form for Vannes since arriving, scoring four tries in eight matches. Such has been his impact with ball in hand, Bruni was named Player of the Month for March despite coming off the bench in two of the three games.

Vannes are currently at the top of the Pro D2 table with 89 points after 24 games. With six rounds to go in the regular season they are guaranteed a spot in the playoff. Should they be victorious they would earn automatic promotion to the Top 14 for next season.
