Argentina name strong roster for Dubai 7’s to prepare for Tokyo Olympics

Argentina have named a strong roster to compete in the upcoming Dubai 7’s. Los Pumas 7’s will join Canada, Chile, France, Japan, Kenya, Spain, and Uganda at the invitational tournament in the UAE.

Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora has a mixture of experience and youth. On the one hand, the old heads include Fernando Luna, Gastón Revol, and Franco Sábato. On the other hand, the roster contains certain future Pumas Lucio Cinti, Ignacio Mendy, and Matías Osadczuk.

Overall, Gómez Cora has an excellent roster; it is one that will genuinely be capable of competing for the podium at the Tokyo Olympics.

The tournament will be similar to the recent Madrid 7’s. In other words, the players and staff will be in bubbles and will compete in two separate tournaments over separate weekends. The first will be April 2-3 and the second April 8-9.
